VR SEAT BUCK

Our customers increasingly use VR to reduce the number of physical models and thus save enormous costs. The evaluations and assessments made with VR require an environment that reflects reality as precisely as possible. The visual must harmonize with the physical experience, at least partially. The components that can be touched in the VR scene must be in the correct position to maximize the immersive effect.

The Calidat VR seat buck is an electromechanical unit that moves to the desired vehicle position via tablet input. This allows the simulation of all kinds of interiors, from sports cars to vans. The steering wheel, seat, armrests and pedals move fully automatically to predefined or freely configurable positions. In addition, the movement of the steering wheel is transferred to the VR scene as well as all positions of the other components.

ADJUSTMENTS

SEAT BUCK HEIGHT

The complete Seat Buck can be moved in Z direction by electromechanical lifting columns. It can thus simulate the ingress height of a wide range of vehicle types.

SEAT BUCK WIDTH

With our two-seater variants, the distance between the H-points can be adjusted to simulate various interior sizes.

SEAT POSITION

The individual seat can be adjusted in height (Z) and longitudinal position (X) and the seat?s own adjustment (mechanical or electrical) can also be operated.

STEERING WHEEL

The steering wheel module can be adjusted in height (Z) and tilt angle (up to 90?). In addition, the own steering column adjustment can be operated.

ARMREST POSITION

Armrests can be adjusted in height (Z) and distance from the seat (Y). Individual armrests can be attached to the device for testing.

PEDAL POSITION

On customer request the pedals can also be mounted adjustable.
